Wine-growing holding The Domaine de la Rouletière covers an area of 27 hectares of vineyards. Today, and for more than 10 years, I keep this heritage with the desire for a cleaner agriculture that makes me a contributor to the protection of the environment and the preservation of the planet: 27 hectares on the planet is not much but it is important! Organic farming is a lot more work than before, but I am proud to offer more natural and high quality wines. - Jean-Marc GILET Chai The Domaine has a majestic cellar, on two levels, dug with 800 metres of galleries. This cellar is the pride and fruit of the work of the whole family passionate about their profession and the desire to share their know-how. In these troglodytic galleries are raised still wines and fine bubbles of Vouvray. The winemaking is done entirely on the estate, the wines are stored in the cellar. Our history It was in 1914 that the Rouletière was born on a land acquired in the small village of Parçay-Meslay. François Gaillard, a cooper by trade, and his wife Aimée Duchamp, daughter of a winemaker from Parçay-Meslay, take charge of the two hectares of vineyards and 20 hectares of cereal land. François Gaillard made the company prosper by acquiring a cellar and a barn where he stored his grafts and plants. Since all these years, the family estate has been taken over with the same passion: the work of the vineyard. Committed and active winemaker I extend my eco-responsibility approach in the choice of my suppliers, each supplier is carefully selected by the innovation and quality of the materials offered, as well as their origins. I always and more favour French products of good quality. Marketing is also a priority, I prefer short circuits with my affiliation for more than 20 years to independent winemakers. Because I am constantly striving to improve, I am actively working to be certified HVE (High Environmental Value). - Jean-Marc GILET
