Herdade da Calada is hidden between the soft hills of Alentejo, over the years it was targeted by several interventions and improvements, but preserves the beauty and elegance of the original main building and is today one of the most modern and innovative winery in Portugal, with 420 hectares of land and a beautiful enotourism guest house. The philosophy of the cellar is to maintain its regional characteristics as well as the character of all the wines, always keeping the goal of producing State of the Art wines. In the cellar, the grapes are transported, exclusively, with the use of gravity. This careful winemaking produces very complex wines, with natural flavors, which reflect its unique and typical character of the indigenous varieties and the Estate itself.
