When Dr. Peter McMahon first founded Seville Estate in 1972, he was one of a handful of winemakers who helped re-establish the lofty reputation of the Yarra Valley wine region,
but he didn’t do it through safety in numbers…
While others planted in proven grounds, Seville’s roots were set down in the soil of the Upper YarraValley –where the land held the potential to craft wines that captured his trailblazing nature.
Today, Dr. McMahon’s legacy lives on through Seville Estate.
