91 Pts -The Cabernet Sauvignon plays an oversized role in the flavours with some clear cassis and blackberry fruits. Enjoyable, smokey oak notes are well integrated into the whole. Austere on the finish, but this has personality and focus. Located in St-Pey d'Armens. New American owner Zaya S. Younan also has seven estates in the Loire Valley, Alain Reynaud consultant.
A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, 60% new oak for ageing.

Those vineyards certified HVE3 produce Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc dominant Bordeaux Red Wines.
The winery teams are led by Dr. Alain Raynaud, former President of the Union des Grands Crus and one of the founders and current President of the prestigious wine association, The Grand Cercle des Vins de Bordeaux.
Zaya S. Younan has been the first American-owned vineyard to be inducted into Bordeaux’s famous Jurade of Saint-Émilion.
In 2022, La Maison Younan announced the acquisition of Chateau Ascumbas (former name for Saint Emilion), which contains over 5 Ha of vineyard on a single parcel. This acquisition was a major stepping stone for the company, highlighting the Vignobles Younan’s presence as large producers of wine in the region.
Since its acquisitions La Maison Younan has invested heavily into improving production and aging processes at its vineyards, while garnering worldwide media coverage in the process, including a 91 rating by Antonio Galloni’s Vinous Wine Media.
La Maison Younan also created a Cognac's selection. The El Septimo's brand worked with the Vigneron family of Comandon. This famous Cognac house was established in 1821, giving it just over 200 years of history. Now, it is ready to release a line of seven Cognacs that are designed to be paired and enjoyed with its cigars such as El Septimo hand made Cigars.
