Winery Martin Waßmer
Since 1997 we have been growing our own wines. Thus, over the years, a clear Burgundy but completely independent style has emerged, which gives all our wines a finesse character. The clear character but provide up to 40-year-old vines and the diversity of the terroir of the locations such as the Dottinger Castellberg, Schlatter Maltesergarten, Staufener Schlossberg, Ehrenstetter Ölberg, Auggener Letten, Achkarrer Schlossberg and the Glottertal Red Bur. In the vineyard, the areas are partly planted with up to 12,000 vines per hectare. What we have achieved in an environmentally sound and natural way with small yields, we harvest by hand and select it in the vineyard, so that comes only the best grapes in the cellar. In the cellar, we give the wines the time they need to mature to their size.
