On November 19th 2021, in Limassol, Cyprus, Salvatore Castano won the prestigious 14th ASI contest for the Best Sommelier of Europe and Africa. Born in Sicily, he decided to leave his island to travel around the world where he discovered his passion for food and wine. Salvatore Castano is the first of three continental contest winners to qualify for the ASI Best Sommelier of the World to be held in Paris, France, in 2023.
