The wines from the Centre Loire are successful around the world for their freshness and crispness but they are often not associated with ageworthiness. In this Masterclass we explore the ability of the white and red wines from the Loire to age and improve over time. Join the Master of Wine and Centre-Loire wines ambassador in Germany, Konstantin Baum, accompanied by two winemakers from the region for an illuminating blind tasting of six Centre-Loire wines.
The wines of Centre-Loire gather and unifies 8 PDOs and two PGIs : Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, Menetou-Salon, Quincy, Reuilly, les Coteaux du Giennois, Châteaumeillant, Pouilly-sur-Loire, les Côtes de la Charité et les Coteaux de Tannay.
